Boots Pharmacy, a heritage UK-based beauty and wellness brand, expanding into the U.S. market through retail partnerships with Walgreens, Target, Ulta, and Duane Reade.
THE NEED
As the brand entered a new retail landscape, Boots needed design support to adapt their visual presence and marketing materials for American consumers to enhance visibility, education, and engagement in-store and online.
THE RESULTS
As a freelance designer, I helped shape the U.S. launch of Boots through a wide range of creative work. This included in-store signage, displays, and visual merchandising tailored to American shoppers; digital marketing assets like web banners and microsites to support e-commerce; and print collateral that introduced new customers to the Boots brand story. The result was a cohesive, multi-channel rollout that translated the trusted UK brand for a new U.S. audience. The positive consumer reaction, driven by product quality and value, enabled Walgreens Boots Alliance to expand availability and distribution to thousands of Walgreens stores nationwide.
